44 years ago when I worked in Neath as an apprentice, one of the men used to repeat a poem that ran.
"Novelist bring your notebooks,
Dramatists your pen,
and I will tell you a story of what women will do for men" (Don't worry it was perfectly clean)
It was only a tale of a lifeboat,
Of the dieing and the dead,
Of a terrible storm and a shipwreck,
That happened off Mumbles head"
